Are any of the following important to you?

  • Brotherhood
  • A Home Away from Home
  • Tradition and History
  • Intramural Sports
  • Charity
  • Social Events
  • Your Dad, Brother or Grandfather is a Phi Kappa Pi

We are always looking for opportunities to expand to new universities and/or reactivate our chapters. If you are interested in starting Phi Kappa Pi at your school here are the criteria and first steps you must take.

Criteria
Every member of the potential interest group must be a male student at a recognized Canadian University, Law School or College.

No member of the potential interest group can be a prior/current member of an International Social Greek Letter Organization at the University or College level as recognized as by the Canadian Inter-Fraternal Council and/or the National Pan Hellenic Council.

We do welcome petitions from local fraternities who would like to explore becoming a part our our national organization.

All potential interest groups must be men of good academic standing at the academic institution to which they belong.

First Steps

  1. Make a list of your friends
See if any of them are interested in starting their own fraternity. You will soon have more leadership opportunities. You and your friends will have an opportunity to express and live your values. Phi Kappa Pi will give you a chance to be with all of your friends - and get to know them like never before.

  2. Contact the Phi Kappa Pi National Expansion Committee
E-mail us at expansion@nc.phikappapi.ca. A member of our expansion committee will contact you and give you the information you need outlining every step. He will follow-up with you and provide assistance in getting you started.

  3. Close in on becoming a Chapter of Phi Kappa Pi
All it takes is 5 men to become an Interest Group: 15 men to become a Phi Kappa Pi Colony. Then you are on your way to a Phi Kappa Pi Chapter.
