Your university years
can be the most memorable time of your life. Opportunities are abound
to become involved in any number of activities. But Phi Kappa Pi
is not just another "activity" or "social club."
Brothers of Phi Kappa Pi pride themselves in the lasting bonds of
friendship they forge. It is this bond that sets them apart from
other societies you may encounter on campus.
Like any family, we require
hard work, effort and commitment from our Brothers. There is no
room for deadbeats in any of our chapters. Fraternity will cost
you time — something that is already at a premium for all university
students. However, Phi Kappa Pi will never ask you to put the needs
of the fraternity ahead of your scholastic commitments. After all,
school is why we are all here!
The benefits of being
a Brother in Phi Kappa Pi are immeasurable. Brotherhood, comradeship,
achievement and success: these are the gifts our fraternity can
offer to one who is willing to give as much as receive. There are
many opportunities to learn, grow, and, when the time is right,
lead our proud tradition. You become part of something larger than
yourself and help to create a home where you are always welcome,
even after your university days are far behind. Each Phi Kap Brother
leaves a mark on his respective chapter that can never be erased.
Ultimately, however,
no amount of writing can properly answer the question, "Why
Phi Kappa Pi?" The only way to get a true answer is to ask
any one of our Brothers. Listen to the excitement and pride in their
voices when they recount their experiences and describe what being
a Brother means to them. This is the true legacy of Phi Kappa Pi.
